Born From a Real Production Problem.
Liminal Creative Studio began inside Dreaming Pictures, our film production company, not as a software idea, but as a solution to a problem we were experiencing ourselves.
During production, we found ourselves moving constantly between screenwriting software, spreadsheets, forms, checklists, documents, calendars, notes, and other tools just to keep one project organized.
Each tool handled part of the job. None of them understood the production as a whole.
We Needed a Better Way to Make Films.
During the production of one of our films, the problem became impossible to ignore. Information was scattered across different applications and documents. A change in one place often meant updating the same information somewhere else, and keeping everything connected consumed time that should have been spent making the film.
We looked for a platform designed around the way smaller production teams and independent creators actually work.
We couldn’t find one. So we built it.

From Dreaming Pictures to Liminal
Liminal Creative Studio is a Dreaming Pictures company built specifically for film production.
What began as an internal solution grew into an all-in-one filmmaking and production-management platform designed for independent filmmakers, content creators, and smaller production teams.
Liminal brings the screenplay, scenes, characters, cast, crew, locations, tasks, schedules, production information, and collaboration tools into one connected workspace.
The goal is simple: give filmmakers the tools to take a production from the first draft through production without forcing them to manage the same information across a collection of disconnected apps.

Alfredo Carnera Jr. brings the perspective of a filmmaker and creative director, while Alfredo Carnera Sr. leads the technology behind the platform. Together, we’re building Liminal around the real needs of filmmakers, independent creators, and production teams.
